Publication Ethics
-
ARC Publishing Services follows the ethical practices suggested by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
-
The journal considers opinions and recommendations from authors and members of the editorial board as part of its efforts to improve publication standards.
-
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are reviewed using a double-blind review system.
-
Reviews are carried out by editorial board members and reviewers with suitable academic qualifications and subject knowledge.
-
Editorial checks are performed to ensure that research articles are clear, accurate, and presented in an acceptable academic format.
-
Technical or language corrections are applied when necessary during the editorial process.
Research Misconduct Policy
Research misconduct includes the submission of the same work to more than one journal or the publication of material that has already appeared elsewhere. It also provides for the use of copied text or ideas without proper reference and the inclusion of false or fabricated data in a manuscript.
When any concern related to misconduct is raised by a reviewer or a reader, the editorial office examines the matter and gathers the relevant information. If the review shows that there is sufficient reason for concern, the author is contacted and asked to explain the situation.
If the author agrees that an error has occurred, suitable corrections may be made, and readers may be informed where necessary. If the author is unable to support the originality of the work or refuses to address the issue, the journal may reject the submission. For articles that have already been published, the journal may remove the article from its website.
If the author does not respond to repeated communications, the matter may be referred to the author’s affiliated institution for further consideration.
Authorship Changes
Requests for change in authorship may be made in the following cases:
-
Request to add a corresponding author before publication.
-
Request to remove a corresponding author before publication.
-
Request to add a corresponding author after publication.
-
Request to remove a corresponding author after publication.
When a request for authorship change is received, the journal follows these steps.
The author requesting the change must submit a written explanation stating the reason for the change in authorship. The journal will then seek confirmation from all listed authors regarding their consent. If all authors provide their agreement, the requested change will be made.
If one or more authors do not agree, the manuscript or published article will be kept on hold until the issue is resolved. In cases where the article has already been published and agreement cannot be obtained, the matter may be referred to the author’s affiliated institution for further consideration, if the concerned author wishes to proceed.
